Kellogg’s Jumbo Snax (cereal but bigger and for snacking) launched with a cartoon superhero nostalgia-driven jumbo campaign, targeting parents who’d want to introduce their favorite Saturday morning cereals to their kids.

Our results were too jumbo for testing, we broke a receptivity record with our target. And, saw a 20% increase in sales after the first week on air!

(We promise the beginning does not buffer like that on-air, we just thought it was cool a stranger uploaded it for us!)

It’s JUMBOOOOO!

It’s JUMBOOOOO!

Every great cartoon needs an opening theme.

This one will get jumbo stuck in your head.

Meet the Jumbo Heroes!

tiff and sam full characters.png

In the Kellogg’s Cinematic Universe (KCU), Tony the Tiger and Toucan Sam grant Tiff and Samuel the jumbo power of Jumbo Snax.
Our jumbo heroes needed elements from each iconic mascot, while still clearly reading as retro superheroes.

Original designs, hand-drawn by Isa, are on the far left and far right. This concept art inspired the final designs, by Consulado, in the center.
All character animations were hand drawn to stay true to 80/90s cartoons.
The Jumbo Snax, their powers, were 3D scanned and rendered for jumbo appetite appeal.

(Tiff is actually short for Tiffabeth. Please don’t tell anyone.)
